Time travel back to a rural stretch of the Appalachian region on a trip to the Heritage Farm Museum and Village, an open-air museum that offers a glimpse of bygone eras through historic buildings and plenty of period artifacts. On a guided tour take a peek inside a traditional one-room schoolhouse, search for provisions at the Country Store, and have a look inside the fourteen other historic buildings for an instroduction to everything from steam tractors to domestic farm animals in the Farm Zoo, petting encouraged.
